A complete clutch repair is
diagnosing the cause of the damage, fixing the problem and
examining and replacing all worn and damaged components.
Component parts do wear and some self adjust to compensate for
normal wear in friction material. The service life of clutch assembly
will not last forever nor can "As-new" performance be
expected in all cases when only replacing the clutch assembly.
Examination and replacement of all worn clutch system
components is critical to ensure the full service life of the clutch
assembly. The following parts if worn or damaged should also be
replaced: Flywheel , Slave cylinder, Master cylinder, Clutch cable,
Fork, Linkage, Bearing retainer, cross shaft bushings, Fork pivot.
