The manual transmission components consist of a bell housing, transmission case, and extension housing. The bell housing encloses the flywheel, clutch release bearing, and clutch disengagement release lever, and a connection to the engine (refer to a manufacturer's repair manual). The transmission case contains a main-shaft, counter shaft, reverse idler shaft, and shift levers.
